1) Geog: Finish Tut 1 Essay Qns 3 & 4 and submit Tut 1 to Ms Lum's pigeonhole (F3). This is for students who have not completed the tutorial.
2) SLP: Proposal for Fundraising Ideas & Games for Party (Vivian and I will do)
3) Phy: Complete Chap 4 Tut Discussion Qns' Corrections & submit assignment before 11am.
4) Math: Remember to complete RR Tut Qns and bring to class.
Homework due on Wed 26/3:
1) Phy: Complete Chap 5 Tut Discussion Qns 1, 3 & 4. Bring Phy File with Chap 1-4 Tut (with corrections) filed in.
Homework due on Thurs 27/3:
1) Phy: Complete Chap 5 Tut Discussion Qns 7 & 8.
2) Phy SPA Task 2; read up beforehand, bring long ruler, SPA File & SPA Booklet
3) GP: Read 1st 3 articles in Y & F Package and summarise the articles' arguments.
4) GP: Read 'TV Lowers Birth Rate' Article & Summarise article generally
5) Chem: AS CA. Also submit Chem AS RP Assignment Qns as well as corrections for AS Tut Qns 1-19 for those who need redo.
6) For Chinese students who have not completed Pg 3-5 of your Pink Booklet, please do so.
Homework due on Fri 28/3:
1) Maths: AP, GP and BT CA (20-25 marks, 55 mins). Bring your writing materials, GC.
2) PW: PI Draft 2 (think carefully of your ideas) - Provide statistics, do A&E & cite sources.
- Do in point form, word limit is 500 words (include headings and sub-headings)
3) Chem: Chemical Bonding Tut Qns 4, 10
- Also watch VSEPR Theory Videos; Video links are provided on COL@C.
- Should have an Extra WS on types of bonds given soon
- Read Section 6 of Lecture Notes (Table 1) beforehand
4) Maths: Sigma Notation Assignment
5) Maths: Try to do Example 5 of Graphing Techniques 1 (before lecture)
Gentle Reminders: All Chem CAs will be held during tutorials. The Math CA is during lecture. For students who are selected to do the ECG survey, it is from 2.15 to 4 pm on Fri @ TDC. For Chinese students, please file in your 口头报告 into your Chinese file.
For Physics, try to use the method of moments to derive the answer in Qn 15a of Phy Chap 4 Tut (one of the Assignment Qns). Also, please complete all self-practice qns and file them in as well. Advice to study for the test is to read every single page of Lecture Notes and redo the discussion qns.
I will constantly update any homework given during the week that are due on the same week. I will also post another homework post at end of week for weekend HW.
