T2W2 Weekend / T2W3 Weekly HW

Note: New HW from T2W3 itself will be added in Green Colour.

Please attempt the CA questions again after reviewing Chapters 1-4 of Lecture Notes. Do your best to complete the questions in detailed reasoning style (according to the paper she gave us). Attend the Phy Consultation on Tues with questions to ask if you really don't know how to do.

In addition, please always remember to do your corrections. Answers can be obtained from COL@C.

Please also remember to plan your revision schedule for the upcoming MYEs.

Homework due on Mon 7/4:

1) Phy: Chap 5 Momentum Tut Qns 11, 13, 14 & 15

2) Chem: Chemical Bonding Assignment due: Tut Qns 1-18 

- Not sure need to do Q19 or not - she did not put in her weekly email

- Check answers by watching video on COL@C for Q11, 12, 16 and mark before submitting. Do your corrections too!

3) Chem: Marked Dot-and-Cross Diagram WS to be submitted along with assignment

- Check that you have drawn the diagrams and also write down the shapes of the molecules.

4) Geog: Complete Tut 2 Essay Qn 3 and Tut 3 Qn 1 before tutorial.

5) GP: Do your 1-2 paragraphs (with the correct structure) for 1 of the points of your essay outline.

- Complete the summary with paraphrasing for the article on 'What the Mass Media Do' *

- Find 2 sources on Youth (Articles, Advertisements, Posters, Song Lyrics, etc.) *

- Complete the outline of your essays on 'Image is Everything...' *

6) PW: Please go through the comments and think carefully of your ideas (especially solutions).

7) Chinese: Chinese CA (Paper 2)

Homework due on Tues 8/4:

1) SD: Do the 3 reflection qns in your SD journal:

- How have you been coping with each subject?

- What is helping/hindering you?

- Do a realistic projection of your desired grades for upcoming MYEs

Also try to complete Section B of WS "My Dream...What do I want to be...?" given this week.

2) Phy: Consultation during Period 0 (Optional), for people who have qns to ask about the CA. Answers will not be given.

3) Math: Try Example 3 (b) of Functions Topic in Lecture Notes (Pg 22)

4) GP: Staple the following items together and submit by 9am tomorrow.

- Summary for Article on 'What The Mass Media Do'
- 2 Sources on Youth (Your articles, posters, song lyrics, etc.)
- Outline for Essay on 'Image is Everything...'
- Your 1-2 paragraphs on one of your points in the outline (topic sentence).

Homework due on Wed 9/4:

1) Phy: Chap 5 Momentum Tut Qns 14, 15, 16, 19

2) Math: Finish MI Tutorial Discussion Qns. Try to start doing Graphing Techniques 1 Tut Qns.

3) PW: Please bring your laptop or any other electronic device with soft copy of your draft. We are going to be working on our Draft 3 during PW lesson.

Homework due on Thurs 10/4:

1) Phy: SPA at 15 30 - 17 00. Bring along long ruler & SPA File and go to lab. Read up SPA Task 3 beforehand.

2) Chem: Read SPA WS 2, bring along SPA File with WS 1 & 2 to the lab. SPA WS due on the day itself.

3) Chem: Read Section 1 of Volumetric Analysis/Planning in AMS notes (Pg 64-66 of Lecture Notes)

4) Chem: Complete Lecture Notes Pg 39, 61-63 before coming for lecture.

Homework due on Fri 11/4:

1) Chem: AMS Redox and Volumetric Analysis Discussion Qns 1, 3

2) Chem: To go through Chemical Bonding Q15 & parts of Qns 11, 16 you may not understand from 12 30 to 13 00 (2nd half of the break). Those who are interested please tell Annabelle by Mon (this is OPTIONAL).

3) PW: Due date for Draft 3

- Prove significance of influence on target group
- Analyze and evaluate the impacts
- Limitations of current measures
- Aims of solutions as well as solutions & its details

Consultations will start from Mon; Sign up for free slots on timetable which will be made available on Mon morning from 8am at J11.

4) Complete Eg 8 & 9, and read up on Section 7 of Functions Lecture Notes.

5) Phy: Finish SPA WS 3 and submit to Physics Rep.
